Hello from Lousiana
#6
A big snowy hello from Wisconsin! I just joined this group 3 weeks ago. I don't post much, but sure have found some good information, as I am sure you will also.
If you have an extra heat down in Lousiana, you can send it north to WI. It will be a week Sunday that we started with the snow storms. Received 18 inches in two days, and again we re having a blast of the snow. an addition 12 inches fell since Thursday morning. Currently we are having freezing rain. So again Welcome!

I am originally from Thibodaux but have lived in Raleigh for 20 years. I like NC a whole lot, the scenery is great just a little ways from the mtns and a little ways from the beach. Most of my family still lives in LA with the exception of one brother that lives in Houston, but I escape while the getting was good! I am new to the forum but have learned a lotjustby reading everyone's else's comments and suggestions. It has helped me a lot. Everyone is so nice :!:

Hello from upstate New York. I love to quilt. Love applique, but am working on a patchwork Apple Blossoms at the present. Just came across this quilting board today and think it is wonderful. I grew up in Lousiana (a wonderful place) and have many happy memories between DeRidder and Sugartown, LA I met my husband in DeRidder at a corner soda fountain. Is anyone famaliar with the larger thread quilting. Like crochet cotton? Can't find any info in my books or magazines. So long for now----------
