Hi Echo829. I visited Hong Kong a few years ago. It was a great city. I have a Jem 720, 10001 and the 6600P. I love them all for different reasons. The Jem to take to class, the 10001 for embroidery, and the 6600P for quilting. Good luck. I feel bad you have no dealer that is closer. Mine is 1mile from my house.

    Welcome from New Hampshire

I have a Bernina 1030 (not computerized) Have had for probably close to 20 years - no problems
I also have a Janome Platinum and Janome Gold. I keep the Platinum in a Tutto cart with supplies for retreats and workshops.
Love all 3 of my machines.

I've avoided getting a computerized machine as I don't use fancy stitches and anything computerized always seems more likely to have trouble , Luddite that I am.
