Too bad we don't live closer to each other so we could meet, I live midstate near the coast. You have made a great start with your new hobby quilting, just hope your furniture arrives soon so you can start making your new home here in Jersey.

Welcome from North Carolina from a native born New Jerseyan. I know right where Millville is as I grew up in Southern NJ (hmmm, does that make me "Southern") and my DH has flown in and out of the Millville Airport on numerous occasions. We used to have a cottage in Ocean City. There are several members here who are from NJ. Hopefully, one or more are near you and read your post so they can get in touch with you. It's nice not to have to clean but it sure gets old fast when you don't have any furniture, doesn't it? I remember that when moving to NC. Curious as to what brought you from the UK to NJ?

Hi Phillippa, welcome from Bristol UK. Was in Norfolk just a month ago. lovely part of the UK. I too lived overseas for a time. Know what it's like waiting for shipping to arrive. I sewed by hand until my machine arrived :!:
