Gets cold in some of the "M" states (Maine, Mich, Minnesota, Montana) and winter is long, so quilting helps fill the long dark days when we can't be outside! :-)

Hi Oregon Penny from MI Penny! Not a lot of us out here. Are you a "real" Penny or like me, a Penelope? My grandmother said you couldn't call a grown woman Penny, but she did until the day she died.

West side of Kalamazoo. Moved here in 1967 to attend WMU, and we have never left. Came with a baby son, and daughter was born here. They are both married and have families living here also. I have a dear friend in Ypsi, so get there a few times a year. Thanks for the message.

Hi back Kellie G. Where in northern lower MI are you? We spend some time every year in Bellaire, there's a great shop there called Cousins. Check it out if you are in the area.
