    Hi,

I'm Gloria and I'm new to this board. I've been quilting for 16 years now. I love it so much that I decided to teach quilting. To make this dream come true, I created a website where I teach beginners how to make their first quilt. You can find it at http://www.sewaquilt.com

My students rave about my easy-to-follow lessons. There's lots of graphics too. So, stop by and check out all the excitement. I look forward to speaking with everyone here.

I really enjoy it,and like you, I thought I could help other ladies how to quilt. But you know the old saying your "your never to old to learn",so I really enjoyed your site .Thank You, Wilma Osmond

Wow, I didn't realize how long it's been since I posted to this forum. Life is so busy these days. So, is everyone ready for spring? Do you have any special projects that you're going to make? Please share with us.

    Gloria

Gloria, I'm also from Michigan and your comment about being ready for spring really got to me. I have been ready, but today woke to snow, blowing winds and horror of horrors, freezing rain! Looks like winter is back! I am not a happy camper today. :(

Yeah, I hear you. We were supposed to go to Ohio yesterday, but of course, the weather wouldn't cooperate. At least the weather can't determine when we sew, right?

Oh, dear, you don't think the weather determines when we quilt? It does in my world, if it's nice and warm I'm outside so I only quilt early mornings and evenings. If it's raining and cold, well the day goes quickly when quilting/sewing...doesn't it? lol

    Welcome to the friendly group!
    Sharon

Gloria, I went to Checkers today with my LQS owner to pick up batting and a few extras. Turned out to be a nice road trip. :D
