I also started at my church quilting. Now I am at three groups of quilting. May I ask which church you quilt at?

My name is Sharon .. I have been quilting since my son was in the 6th grade.
I now belong to 3 quilting groups.
I am looking for a new portable sewing machine made by Janome. Has anyone have one they can tell me if they like it or not?
my email is [email protected]

I'm located in the "Thumb" just outside Sandusky. Just took a trip north with hubby and did a LOT of "shop hopping". Someone said, not long ago, that quilting is a dying art! I don't know where they got that from. I've found LOTS of quilters. I think it is an art that is reviving, if nothing else.

There is a little shop in the thumb of Michigan, he offers a 100% trade in value if you decide to trade up within a year. I bought a machine someone else had "traded up". He still offered me the 100% trade if I decide to trade up, myself. He is really good with helping, too. Not sure how far that is for you, but very good idea. I LOVE my Janome. It is a 6260.
