Welcome from the piedmont of NC. I live about 40 miles east of Charlotte. This is a GREAT board to belong to. Everyone is so nice and helpful. There are several on the board from NC. Where in the mountains do you live?

welcome from SC! I'm just south of Charlotte NC and oh how I love the mountains near Asheville (well any mountains actually!) My dh's aunt used to live in Weaverville. I tell dh that I NEED to go to the mountains at least once a year.....it just renews my soul.
