Hello, My names is Esta Schubert from Portage Indiana

I have two vintage machines, one is a white rotary which I have almost fully restore and look forward to using and my second one which I am still researching on. It is a Davis “New Cottage” vibrating shuttle treadle machine. I have a serial number but can’t seem to find anyplace thar I can find when this was made. I am looking for needles and the bobbin case and bobbins. I have be told that it is singer parts compatible. Would really like to get this one working so I can see what she handles. Is there anybody that is familiar with this type of machine?

Welcome to the board, Esta. We have a number of people who are wizzes with older machines and have marvelous searching talents.

While I have some experience in vintage machines, I am not currently collecting or working on them, but I saw one yesterday at the Goodwill that I might go back and buy... kept me up all night long.

Welcome from Southern Indiana...did you post in the "Vintage and Antique machine' forum? I like older machines, but I also like the modern ones. Guess I just like sewing machines!
