Welcome from Ontario, Canada. You are lucky, I am sure my husband would draw the line at taking the sewing machine in the trailer when we camp. He rolls his eyes when I pack in a current knit or crochet project and they don't even take up that much space

Difference we are not going camping. This is our home and our life we have chosen. Right now the table has my sewing machine, and all kinds of Christmas fabrics I am dressing up a round tablecloth for a gift. But this is what makes me happy. And if I am happy so is he. My Bill is very patience and understanding. Thank goodness.

Hi! Being from Georgia you would think it would be warm today but it is cold -- quilting weather for sure. Decided to try getting involved with a message group and this is the one I chose. Have been reading post on scrap quilts and enjoy it. Love scrap quilts thanks for the info. Til later Happy Quilting.

I will have to look at a map and see where this is. Do you know where Lake Whitney is?

Welcome to the board from Eastern Washington state! You are in an envious position, living and traveling in your 5th wheel!
My husband and I bought a motor home this last summer, but we haven't had the opportunity to take it on a trip yet. My husband was diagnosed with leukemia and I had a pretty involved foot surgery. Our dream is to travel frequently, with trips home to see the kids and the grandkids. We're hoping that his health improves so that we can finally take a trip in our motor home. We have spent time in the RV in our backyard (sleeping and watching movies, etc.). We are both quilters (he just started, but is quite good at it). Any tips and pictures you can send our way for set up and storage of machines, fabric and supplies would be greatly appreciated!

Our mailing address is Warden, Wa. Daughter has taken care of our mail for 11 years. We have never lived there, visit each year.

We have and believe there is more room in a 5th for living and storing. Our home is a Newmar Mountain Aire, 3 slides. Living room has a cubby hole where my embroidery machines sits. I can sit in my recliner and watch it stitch. Serger rides in the bottom of my closet, and sewing machine behind my chair at the dinning room table. Thread cases under (3) the couch.
Sold the washer and dryer and have a freezer in this area with a shelf above and my tubes of fabric and supplies. A big storage under our bed and I do have a few tubs underneath. Could I have more? Certainly but stores aren't too far apart.

Pray for you and your husband to receive better health soon, and get on the road. Take slow trips, don't fly down the road and miss the good stuff. Hope we meet up one day.
