:-) Hi I am a newbee from NJ too, just working on my first quilt for my granddaughter, did 4" blocks in colors of pinks and greens with a dark rose border and backing, still quilting it on my machine, stitching in the ditch. I am having a wonderful time working on it. I live in North West NJ, Warren County, where in NJ are you?

Hello Again, Thanks for the welcomes and the advise. I live in Egg Harbor City in Atlantic County. I'm about 18miles from Atlantic City and the casinos. I do wear wrist splints at night when I think of it. I can't stand them, rather deal with the pain when they act up. I used to make jewelry but have pretty much given it up except for an ocasional gift.

    Back to you

    SCLARK69...

I am about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Atlantic City..right down the parkway.

Gave up going as much as much as I did previously...figure the $$$$$ I have given to them, could have bought me some very nice fabric.

Still go every so often.........but just a shappy to stay home and sew....

    EARLYLACE

My son lives in Brick also. He is about 15 miles south of me....just about 20 minutes away.

    TRUPEACH

Manalapan isn't too close but not too far either. If you ever visit your cousin, PM me and perhaps we could meet for a cup of coffee and chat about our stitches !!!!!!

I have a friend in Sandusky...is that anywhere near you?
