Hi Pat, welcome from North Carolina. I was raised in the Bronx and lived for a few years in Liberty NY p in the Catskills I'm a mother of three and grandma of four. So glad you found us, you will love it here.

I am also a mom to 4 grown kids, but grammy to 4. My kids do live close by--but I still manage to find time to quilt anyway!!!

Welcome Pat from the California desert.

I have a hard time with colors also. I pick a pattern, then one fabric I like then head to the local quilt shop (LQS) and they point me in the right direction. I would buy kits if I could afford it, BUTTTTTTTTT.
