Helllo from SC, I am new to this site and I love it.
What is the pattern you are using from a Mhyrtle Beach designer?

Hi sewgull. The one that I am working on right now is called Garden Tiles by Donna Matheson. I will try to post some pictures when I get my camera back from my daughter.

The next one is Illusions by The Sweet Tea Girls. This particular pattern, just to look at the front picture in the package is so deceiving. I saw this quilt made up and it was gorgeous! If I hadn't seen it finished I don't think I would have been drawn to purchase it in all honesty. I don't have the fabrics for it yet.

Then I'm going to start on the first of what will turn into m-a-n-y of Kim Diehl's quilts. I have been bitten by the bug when it comes to this particular designer. I just purchased all four of her books and I want to make every single thing in each and every one of them, lol!

Welcome Hunnib from a NE Alabama lady. I enjoy giving, as sounds like you do to. Making something for yourself isn't selfish though.

PM me and let me know what date you girls settle on. I'll try to make plans to meet you at Mary Jo's. Have something going on just about every weekend between now and Thanksgiving ~ but not all are on Saturday.

How would either 10/31 or 11/7 work for you for a trip to Mary Jo's?

Hello from the mountains of NC. We have been permanent up here since Feb, but in Raleigh for 22 years. You are not far from Mimi Sharon--one of the nicest ladies on the forum. She is in Jacksonville.

Thank you ladies for such a nice welcome to this group. You have all been so nice.

mamadoglewis, Nov. 7th would work for me. I have a family birthday party on October 31st that I almost forgot about. Piedmont Quilter says she thinks that would work for her too. I'm going to make a post and we'll see if there are others from this area that may want to go and then we can coordinate things depending on where everyone is located.

vicki reno, its so nice to know that there are others on this group that live in my area. I have a niece in Winston-Salem. I love that part of the state.
