I've been lurking for awhile, and find myself coming here to read the new posts even before checking my email. So I decided I had better register so I can comment on all your beautiful quilts! LOL
I have sewn most all of my life, and took some quilting classes in the late 80's. For the most part, I have done hand piecing and hand quilting (although I'm not very good at it). My right hand gave out, and after two surgeries on it, I realized if I want to quilt it will have to be on a machine. So, I drank the kool-aid and now am working on perfecting my seam allowances and pressing skills. You can call me pretty much a newbie :)
I am so amazed and inspired by the beautiful work shared here, as well as the support given. And the humor!
Thanks, and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you better.

Hello from central OK. I also have had some hurdles to overcome and have learned that there really is more than one way to do something! Will pray for continued determination and patience.....for both of us! ;)
