Hello from Oregon

Thought I would introduce myself.
I have been sewing 'forever', but quilting for about 4 years. I am a domestic engineer. In other words - I don't work, outside the home. But I am a grammy and help my DD2 (divorced) with her three kids. That sometime is like work! But I love them.
Right now I am working on three charity quilts for my guild, which I really need to get finished. I'm down to just getting them quilted on my machine

Hello Grammy and welcome to this site. You sound like a woman of experience and wisdom so please don't hesitate to join in our group discussions. Sometimes we discuss quilting and sometimes brownie recipes and sometimes we just pick on each other and laugh.

Welcome Grammy... Glad you joined us quilters. You'll find every time you check out the board there's something new to learn ...at least I've learned alot. I'm sure you are of great help with your grandkids. Our grandkids are older and don't need babysitting anymore so now we babysit our grand-dogs! Have one coming for a week on Wednesday.
Enjoy the board.

Hi, I live in Washington State, just above you. Do you go rving alot?
We are retired and the nest is empty. We moved to eastern washington
from the West side. We love it here, we used to live on Camano Island.
I love to quilt and knit, fish, and ride our goldwing motorcycle with my
hubby. I am in another group and we do quilt swaps, it is really fun.
Well must cook dinner. Hattongirl

Hi Hatton: We live in our RV and will full time it as soon as hubby retires. We sound like twins. I love to quilt, fish and used to ride our wing a lot. We don't have it anymore but will get another one soon. Used to put about 20,000 miles a year on it. If you're in the area, stop by for a chat. You can also check out my blog for lots of great links, quilting and rving.
