Thank you Feathers and Celeste :D
The "Peek-a-Boo" quilt takes a lot of fabrics, but it was fun to do. If you decide to make one, I had seen the TV segment on making it.... so it is from "memory" but fairly simple to do.
Celeste: Don't give up! What pattern did you choose for your first quilt? Sometimes it is "best" to just put it away for a time (maybe not 20 years!) and do a diffrent quilt...maybe a baby quilt, simple pattern, and let your creative brain rest from your first project. Sometimes our frustrations with a pattern cause even more frustrations to happen. Besides, maybe the quilt will forget who YOU are and won't give you such a fight the next time you work on it
