Welcome from Arizona. We are all at different place in developing our skills and so far I have found everyone very helpful in addressing the questions and needs of other quilters. Welcome and hope you find a wealth of knowledge and kindness to help you along the way.

Hi Vasilisa, I am also new to the board, fairly new to quilting ,a bagmaker and a thriftshopper so we have lots in common! I live in Canada on the border of Ontario and Quebec where the first polish settlers came to stay, one of which was my grandmother. Nice to see your lovely bags. Enjoy the inspiration you find on the board. From Lynda.

Welcome from sunny, Central Florida! Your bags are wonderful!! Very pretty!! I try to keep my costs down as well, and have taught two students my methods of conserving as much as possible. Thrift shops are a great way to keep the cost down. I go there too! The last pattern I designed was a border for a "Sleigh Ride" Christmas tree skirt which will go to my youngest daughter before Christmas. So far, I've mostly used free patterns off the internet. Although I do buy a few on sale here and there. I look forward to getting to know you!
