I grew up in Mexico, Maine but have lived in Florida since 1971. Glad you are attempting quilting, I am still attempting to do it myself, I really enjoy Tuesday night dinner with the girls & then we guilt & chat for a couple of ours.

DH and I go to Maine often in the summer.

Welcome. I love your cat and I love Portland. As a kid our family used to vacation from Montreal to Portland, actually to Old Orchard Beach. I still think of that area very fondly and was in Portland about two years ago on a New England vacation and fell in love with all of Maine once again. It's a lovely state with a gorgeous coastline.
I hope you will enjoy this quilting board as much as I do (I'm a new user myself!)
