Good Morning! When I joined this group I never thought I would be talking to quilters from Oregon to Australia, this just blows my mind.
I will be on line all day, give me a shout.
Debbie from Oregon-do you get to the Sisters Show?
Blahel - fabulous fabric from your country - delicious!

Welcome from North Central PA. I am only about 2 hours from you. Was just there in November. Found a huge Joanns and a Mennonite quilt shop just near the turn pike. Can't remember the name. Lots of great fabric. Found an awesome selection of flannels. Maybe we can meet sometime and you can introduce me to some more LQS's.

Hello from a former Berks Countyian. I lived in Hamburg then Reading from 1972 - 1990. What part of Reading do you live? It has changed a lot since 1990! I was up there about 18 months ago. I live in TN now but have lots of memories. Do you ever shop at Hayloft quilt shop in Morgantown?

Souders in Muddy Creek, I had a horrible time there with fabric I bought, I don't shop there any more, they refused to take back the 12 yds. I bought. It was flawed.
all the fabric I purchased there was flawed. I travel alot and teach and I never recommend anything but quiltshops and trade shows.
I only buy the better quality fabrics from quilt shops. Its just not worth the aggravation to shop in barns etc. I like to keep the quilt shops in business.

I have never been there, but I know quilters who do and really like it. Its hard for me to go to another quilt shop when the Quilters Palette already has everything and will get whatever I want and it is only 8 min. from my house. Tonight is Friday night Sewathon! I will be there tilll 10PM

Weather permitting we are coming to PA (Walnutport) next weekend for a quick trip to see the kids and grandkids. I want to 'stop' by Hayloft to see their fabrics and be comfortable ordering from them online. It will be a quick trip with lots going on. Eastern Sportsman show in Harrisburg, then watching NASCAR Sat night and then superbowl on Sun. Mon is a quick visit to other d-i-l and granddaughter (Son is in the Army and on his way to Haiti) Then a stop at Hayloft and then headed home.

WHEW --- I'm tired and we haven't left yet!

Hi mic pa, I only go to the hay loft when I am looking for something older, maybe once or twice a year. I do go there to meet other quilters to pick up quilts because it is centrally located. Let me know when you go, I can meet you! only 1/2 hour from my house.
