Talking Hello from Ridge, NY - Long island

I have not been here in quite a while. My sewing/crafting room was completed 3 years ago and I have been in it maybe a dozen times in that time period. Well, my plan for this year is to be in it more often. :-)

Waving from across the states on the left coast!

Glad to have you back with us, the board recently went through an overhaul so if it seems a bit different it is because it is! I've become a member since you've been gone because the sites I used to go to 20 years ago are gone too! It's funny what happens when real life happens.

Greetings from a former Long Islander! My family is over in Northport... Is it cold today as well?

I really don't understand how you could not be in that sewing/craft room most of the time! To each his own, of course, but my fingers itch to play with fabric and crafty stuff. I'm sure the room will be happy to greet you often!

It was very cold - 20 degrees and windy. However, we have been spoiled with 40's and 50's these past few weeks.

Yes, I recently asked myself the same question. The answer is a new husband, two older step children, new demands on my job, taking care of my mom and my horses. Now the children moved out and am working on taking "me time" back.
    Thanks for shaking my tree!!
