    Hello, My Name is Amanda and I have been quilting for 5 years and I LOVE it. I just made my first king sized quilt for my bed this year as an anniversary present for my husband.

    Oh that's neat...I am in Sumter. I have been in SC since I was 9 years old (almost 33 years), so I think of myself as a South Carolinian! I really don't remember much before that anyway! Do you belong to the Quilters of South Carolina?

    Thanks Pam! It is beautiful down there...I lived in Hilton Head for about 5 years, and now I am in Sumter.

    Was you dad stationed at Shaw Field? My dad was at one time, he was USAF(ret) He passed away almost 5 years ago.
