    Hi and Welcome from the state of New Hampshire in the US. Easy blocks to do are the 9 patch, there is a tutorial for the Disappearing 9 Patch on this site under tutorials, that will help you make an easy quilt. Also, quilt patterns like Yellow Brick Road are also easy to do. You can find lots of easy, free quilt patterms on like. Just search using "free quilt patterns'. Good luck and hope you find something that is fun!

    Hi Gem, Welcome, I've only just found this forum and have found lots of helpful tips and lots of very friendly people - I always hand quilt as its so nice to sit down in the evening and do something quiet and relaxing whichever you choose - enjoy

    Have to agree with this comment - her books are brilliant and very easy to understand - am doing one of hers at the moment called Lovers Knot
