Jette, Welcome. I have to know being from Sweden what brand machine do you own? Your work is beautiful. I have seen your book on C & T Publishing.

I´m The lucky one. Bernina sponsered me. with a Aurora 440 QE.
I love that one, not least becaurse it have a magnifying glas :D :D
I also have a virtuosa (Bernina) and I still have my 30 years old Bernina.
I have just got a gandchild (nr. 2), and jubiiii.. it was a girl, so now I am happy, that I saved my old one.
Some month ago I found a small Singer - I think it is called a Featherweight. It is very sweet and handy for classes. It´s also fantastic for paper-piecing, becaurse it only have streight seems. The seems are very precise.
My biggist wish is a longarm. But it is unpayable here.
I have to use a Flynn Multiframe. I will try to use watersoluble thred on the frame to get the layers precise, and then quilt on my QE. Perhaps that will work :D :D

I have a bernina as well and old 930 which I love, I bought it in 1983. My mom got hers in 1956 from a door to door salesman, my sister has it and it still works today. They are great machines. You cannot beat those little featherweight machines for piecing and great for classes. i would really like to have one.

Mine is also a 930. I bought it -84. I bought a Featherweight from Florida, on Ebay, but to get a transformer was so expensive, so it was cheaper to buy the one I found on the attic in my "sewing-mans" house. I payed 150 USD for it. It just love it. The one I got from Florida were more expensive, shipping and custom - that was no fun.
