I must say I am absolutly knocked back by some of the quilts pictured in the Pictures forum and as avatars. I think I will be embarassed to show mine when the time comes....

Welcome from NE Alabama. Everyone started somewhere, so post away. There is no speed limit on this Board...LOL. It's more quilt at your level & you'll finish the race.
We lived 5 years at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, back in the 70s when my now deceased ex was in the Army. I remember snow in winter & hot in the summer. Our son was born there on Nov 4th 1970 & it was snowing when we took him home. I never saw snow until I was 15 (Alabama native). Burr.........

Welcome fro NEMO. I live in Hannibal, MO. It's just about as far from Springfield as you can get. I usually come to Springfield every summer for a teachers' conference. Enjoy your new home. Glad to welcome you to the board.
