Hello
My name is Wendi and this is my first online quilting group. I'm from Indiana and started quilting 5 years ago. I took a block of the month class and made "women of courage" from civil war prints. all I can say is, " I definitely jumped in with both feet and glad I did! I'm addicted!

Howdy from Texas. Sounds like you are well on your way to an addicting hobby. Sometimes we bite off more than we can chew but we sure learn a lot time the end of the project. We would love to see some to the things you have made. This is a very good place to come for answers to questions you might have and also for encouragement when things get hard. Welcome!

Hello from Maryland. I was just thinking today about how many times I've heard people talk about their first quilt and they realize --after the fact-- that they didn't know it was considered a "harder" pattern, or "not for beginners" or something along those lines. We just jumped in, as you say. And we lived to tell about it! Not only that, we got addicted!
