hello

I am new to the message board, but have read and looked at all the beautiful quilts being made for over a year now. I make quilts for family and friends, but I also make memory quilts. The latest one I did was for a co-teacher whose husband passed away suddenly. That was a hard one to do, as I also knew him and recognized many of the shirts I used in the quilt. Anyway--hello and thank you to everyone for sharing your work.

Great work area and quilt wall. I don't have room in my sewing room for a quilt wall because I opted for floor to ceiling book shelves for books, fabrics, etc. but have thought of turning the slider doors on the closet into a quilt wall...will do that when I know longer need to wear clothes...now that congures up a pretty (awful) site!  Thanks for sharing.

You asked to see photos of work I have done - here are two. One finished and one being worked on. I am enjoying all the new acquaintances I am meeting here--Wouldn't it be great to have a big get-together sewathon weekend?!?!?![img][/img]
A memory quilt made for a fomer cheerleader - this was a happy quilt to make.
