Hello
#1
I have enjoyed reading this message board and I am finally introducing myself. What a joy to find wonderful people that gives so much time and information to help people they don't even know. I feel truly blessed.
I taught myself to quilt, and my quilts are by no means perfect, but I love them. I am sending a picture (hopefully) of a quilt that I just finished. I saw a BOM in Joanns and loved the colors. They didn't have all of the blocks to make a complete quilt, so I decided to pick out colors similar to the BOM and made my own. I had the top made, then decided I didn't want to put it on my quilting rack and quilt it by hand. (It takes months to quilt it by hand, and I have to leave it set up in the living room) Well, I took it apart and started quilting it as I went. Sort of Quilt as you Go process. Anyway, here it is. I learn something new everytime I do a quilt.
Thanks for all of the fun, laughs and information you so graciously give.
