Hello from Tucson!
Hello!
I am a young mother of 2 who learned the basics of quilting from my mother who now lives super far away. I am the only quilter I know, and so I am looking for some help and a community of people who love sewing as much as me!
I have done probably somewhere around 7 or 8 quilts, mostly baby sized, but currently working on my second queen size quilt for my 2 year old daughter.
I get only a few hours of sewing in a week, but love every second. I love to see what others are creating!
Thanks!

Welcome from South Louisiana.
In the winter there are many quilters in the surrounding area around Tucson, mainly snowbirds from the frozen north. Locally in Tucson, you have a couple of guilds that might be worth looking into. It's nice to have quilty friends that you can call or go sew with.

Welcome to the Quilting Board from Texas. We would love to see pictures of what you are working on. Quilting/Sewing is my happy place & I'm in my sewing room every chance I get. You will like this board with all the friendly & encouraging quilters here.

Welcome from California. It will be chanllenging to find time to quilt with 2 young kids. Maybe find a quilt group that meets once a month and try and join them for a few hours. We have a Modern Quilt that meets the 3rd Sat. Of each month at our local quilt shop. Providing you have some daycare support. Enjoy and dont be afraid to ask questions. There are so many helpful people on this board.
