Good morning, and welcome, from a fellow Brit.
I have been here, mostly lurking, for some time and love the feeling of friendship and community. Also, what's not to like about seeing all the fabulous work from everyone?
I too have been sewing for some time having been given a Featherweight for passing the 11+ in the early sixties, (shhh). An Elna appeared for my 21st, exchanged for a Janome 4800 when I moved to the NE 12 years ago. I've only been quilting for a few years and soon learnt that a Featherweight is a favourite for workshops. So guess what I bought a couple of years ago? Oh the memories it brought back!

Hello and welcome, I live in Herefordshire.
I have only been sewing since 2011, although I have always made curtains etc. Now, since retirement, I try to sew every day, either hand embroidery, or machine sewing. I have a love of vintage machines - I have a few - but I love my Janome. I am returning the dining room back to my sewing space now that Christmas and New Year is over!
