Hello from Virginia
My name is Helen. I've been quilting for about 20 years, starting watching quilting shows on tv. Waiting for my Singer 301 to arrive, found so much info here so decided to join.

Howdy Helen! Those 301s are nice little machines, I was lucky to find one at the Goodwill years ago for $20, plugged it in and it started working right away.
Getting on to a year ago now I was gifted with a new-to-me modern Bernina by a friend who replaced it and I am learning to love all the bells and whistles but for the last 30 years I've been sewing on a vintage machine older than I am.
Happy to have you join in on the fun!

Welcome from SW Missouri. I too started by watching TV shows on quilting. Got hooked and can't seem to stop. When my Kenmore machine worn out I found a Featherweight and now that's all I piece on. Enjoy the group!!

Hi Helen and welcome from Mississippi!
I have a wonderful little 301 that I love sewing on, too. They are great machines.
Enjoy the board and be sure to show us some pics of your work. (Shrink your pictures first so they will upload here.)
