Hello from Wales, UK
I just joined the forum this afternoon after doing an internet search for 'quilting forum'! I 'recently' (about 18 months ago) returned to sewing , and have done a fair bit of dressmaking. I am a Women's Institute member and have been lucky enough to go on a couple of day courses on patchwork and quilting, and my interest has been sparked. So far I have done a Makower quilted Advent Calendar, some English Paper Piecing, and some applique. Next project will be a small quilted wall hanging as a Christmas gift for a friend, then hopefully a larger project for myself in the New Year.
Looking forward to exploring the forums and getting to know you all.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. If you can view videos on your computer, check out Missouri Star Quilt Co. with Jenny Doan. She has great patterns and videos on table runners, tree skirts and quilts.

My son and daughter in law took 2 of my grandchildren to Wales in August. He came up yesterday from NYC to spend Thanksgiving with me and this morning showed me on his computer the many pictures they took of your beautiful country.

Thanks for the link Tartan, I may have to have a look, some christmassy fat quarters seem to have mysteriously appeared in my sewing room
