My friend Carlene got me started quilting in 1987. I make scrap quilts. This quilt (Shoo Fly Pattern) has some fabric from Carlene's mom and my mom. I had Gail Key of the Quilted Key in Snoqualmie, Washington, quilt it with her long arm machine. I've tried machine quilting and hand quilting too.

I pieced the top 20 years ago. With 1/4 inch seam allowance, the blocks are 12 inch square. The sashings are 3 1/4 inches wide. The pattern instructions came from a Georgia Bonesteel book. I can't tell you which one because I photocopied the pages and the title does not appear--only the chapter names.
