Hello from West Texas
Hi! I'm looking forward to visiting with and learning from ya'll!
I've been interested in quilting since I was a young child and my great-grandmother taught me to piece squares. Now I work on projects at every opportunity. Mostly for nonprofit, but occasionally just for fun.
Most of the quilts I make are for children. I'm the coordinator for the Lubbock Chapter of Project Linus, so I get the privilege of distributing lots of beautiful quilts, blankets, and afghans to local children who have suffered a trauma. The members of our chapter are so talented and generous.
For years I've been researching the unique history and heritage of quilting in America. I'm looking forward to hearing your stories and learning from such a diverse group of quilters.
