Hello and welcome From VA. I have done a wedding ring quilt I used the quilt smart pattern. I thought it was pretty easy. It took about 3 months to finish a king top and that was not working on everyday.
What I liked about the quilt smart pattern it was traditional with all the pieces sewed together the neat part is that you make a tube and turn rightside out and press into place and top stitch down. I just thought it was easy.
