    Default Hey From Georgia

    Hey Everybody,
I'm new on here and I'm introducing myself.
I have started sewing about 3 years ago and have collected alot of fabrics. Im trying to destash my collection, but as well as wanting to learn to make new projects. Due to recent events I'm not able to quilt, at the moment, but I still love looking at patterns and creative ideas. Hopefully I can destash and make virtual friends on here! LolHappy quilting everybody!

Welcome aboard! Although I say I'm mostly from Alaska, I was an Army brat and lived in Georgia many years ago... would have been 1966?? I was only 6 or so but I remember the huge cicada hatching.

Currently waving and still staying a safe social distance, behind the plague lines near Seattle. I've been trying to get myself organized and ready to quilt down the backlog of tops I have, but my machine is going back to the shop today -- so I will be joining you in appreciating the work of others for a bit longer

Welcome to the QB! You will make many sewing friends here of all ages and skill levels. Many of us love to build or destash our fabrics from time to time. Right now I am trying to get my sister who just started to quilt, to help with some destashing at my house. I have enough fabrics to out live me x3. As far as patterns there is always something going on. So many different quilts are made and the patterns are discussed. Again welcome to the QB.

Welcome to the board from Sunny Florida. I also have a large stash and like you I would like to deplete it. I have been making a lot of scrap quilts but I haven't made a dent in it. Good luck to you and I hope you enjoy this board as much as I do.

    Default Response to Introductions!

Wow!! Such a warming welcoming group here! AMAZING! I appreciate all the love here! While I'm in process of destash of fabrics, can anybody give me some resources on how to rid of the scrap pieces, and is there any tutorials on this site?
Again Amazing Ladies, Thank you for such a warm welcoming!
