    Guten Morgen fabric-holic,
Baden-Baden is such a lovely city, lots of great architecture from around 1900 or even older and all in a very good condition. Lots of flowers, parks, a city with a special flair, that is. Surely you like it, don't you?
And yes, your German is very good! Not as rusty as my English, which I learned at school, >25 years ago, but I guess, I will not only improve my sewing skills, but also my english knowledge over here. Two birds with one stone :D

    Have a nice day,
    Anne

    Ihr Englisch ist sehr gut!
I've only been to Baden-Baden once and that was about 30 years ago. And yes I liked it very much.

Ja, aber das gelt auch. Ich bin einmal - vor hundertjahr - Studentin auf der Uni Heidelberg gewesen... habe dort fuer zwei Jahre bei einer deutschen Familie gewohnt. Diese waren WUNDER=jahren! Ok, you're going to love it here... so many nice and helpful people, and so many good ideas. But I need to stay off the computer more so I can sew more. <G>
