Thanks, Lesley! My greatgrandmother came to America when she was 4 years old from County Cork. I have a grandmother's flower garden quilt she and my mother Put together when my mother was a young girl. That was about 90 years ago.

Welcome aboard from Ohio. I also quit smoking a couple years ago...what a relief. Although can't say I'm as active as you (should be). But now that the prices have gone up just think of all that $$$ for fabric.

    Congrats!!!!!! :D

    Hello Lady Bug,

I'm only about an hour or so from you. What is Alton Exchange? Sounds like a neat place.

    Lisa
Alton Exchange rents booth space to many vendors under one roof. Most are of an antique nature. One booth is the Soap Lady. She sells all different scented homemade soaps. Someone else sells books. I love to browse here. Never know what you'll find.

Lady Bug: A big hello from Wood River, just down the road a little from you. Glad to have you so near by. I too quit smoking in 2001 after 40 some odd years. I'm a newbie to quilting but love doing it. We will have to get in touch with each other soon for coffee. PM me if you are interested. EllenK
