Hi from cold, snowy northern NY
Hi,
My name is Carol and I live in the Adirondacks in northern NY. I've been sewing for years. I mostly make potholders and neckties which I sell wholesale to shops around the country
Once I get the ties or holders cut out, I find myself piecing the scraps together to make more potholders or mug mats or something so they don't go to waste I have also used the scraps to make several full size quilts. The quilts are nothing fancy - just small 4 inch squares but that makes for quite a variety of prints in a full size quilt.
This forum looks so interesting and I know I can find some great ideas here, even on non quilting topics like what books people are reading. Nice to meet you all.

Oh so glad you found us! Welcome from North Carolina! A couple of times in my younger years I drove through your area (always took the scenic way)on my way to Canada and back. What beautiful beautiful country even if it is a bit cold.
