Welcome! I live in Cbus too! What part of the city do you live in? I'm in Hilliard area. What fabric/quilt shops do you frequent? I'm always looking for new places to shop!
Hi RN - I'm on the far east side of Columbus near Mt. Carmel East. I have a wonderful quilt shop about five minutes from where I work called Quilt Beginnings. It's on East Broad Street and a great way to relax during lunch, browsing, petting the fabric, and reminding me why I need to get back to work so I can buy, buy, buy!
I go to the Quilt Beginnings on Sawmill. I have been to East Broad when my daughter used to practice softball at Capital but am glad there is a closer one now. I bought my new Janome sewing machine from Red Rooster and love their fabrics and service. Have not been to Grove City but will definately google it soon. There is also another one; The Glass Thimble in Worthington that I have been told is a real treat to visit. Hey, anyone want to pick a date/time and try to meet one of these places? Kind of a pre-quilt show drooling session, lol.
