Hello to all. I am a little old lady, who is a garment sewer and a hand quilter. Now, I am new at computers and just learning to piece. I am working on a southwest star block #1 and a photo may come in a couple of weeks. My daughter has to do the scanning. I need lot's of help and tips for the quarter inch seams.[list]

Hi quiltnnana you could get a 1/4 in. foot for your sewing machine; or you can take a tape measure and measure a 1/4 in from the needle out to the plate and mark it with serverl layers of masking tap.
