welcome from Texas. I began sewing clothing for my small son and myself. by hand. no sewing machine then. later i continued clothing but by machine. When my son was grown i started quilting. but made coat from a twin blanket, all sort of things for the house, kitchen, etc. Loved it all!! You will have great fun watching quilting evolve and you with it.

Welcome from SC Texas. I started sewing clothes for myself then for my DD and then my DGD's. Started quilting in the sixty's and never stopped. I still love making pretty dresses but most of my sewing is quilting. Hope you enjoy being here and you can learn so much from so man people who love quilting and are so ready to share their knowledge with those just starting out. Happy quilting.
