Hello and welcome from an equally arctic Perth, Western Australia. I live in the Darling Ranges, where it is usually a few degrees cooler than Perth...but this is the coldest I have ever felt it. Not much rain either, which is a bit of a worry.
Anyway, gives me more of an excuse to get quilting!
I am sure you will enjoy visiting this site...it's awesome, lots to learn and laugh about.

It's a small world. I just saw a bizarre story on our evening news about a man in Australia who wandered out of a bar and hopped a fence to try riding an 18 foot long crocodile named Fatso. I think he was in Perth? Someplace north.
