Thanks Kathy and Laurlyn, I live on the Ore City side of Lake of the Pines. So not far from you Laurlyn! We used to catfish at Wright patman.

Hi. Welcome from SC Texas. I was born and raised in NE Texas not far from you, I miss it in the fall and the beautiful colors. I am so sorry for your loss I know it is hard for you. So happy you joined us and hope you enjoy being here as much as I have.

Hi, Linda, I grew up in Tyler and spent a lot of time around various lakes in yur area (Now I live north of Houston). I am so sorry about your husband. I hope that quilting and meeting new people help you at this time. And, I hope you get as much from the board as I do. It's a great place for ideas, inspiration and support.

Linda, like you... I'm new to this board & quilting. Everyone seems to be very supportive and helpful.

I too am in Texas. The beautiful Texas hill country. Thankfully, we enjoyed a wonderful bluebonnet season this year.

It will be fun to imagine the possibilities for quilting now that you have the time.
