Hi Everyone!
Hi Everyone!
Happy New Year to All! My name is Linda Weaver and I'm from Colorado, the Southern Rockies region. I 'discovered' this website by following a recommendation from an individual on the AQS website...the Paper Piecing group. I'm a nursing instructor at University of Colorado and have been quilting for ~10 years; more seriously the last 3 as I try to find a balance between work and quiet time. I'm always looking for folks to chat with as I spend the majority of my non-teaching time at home---significant joint & muscle pain as a result of systemic lupus and concomitant fibromyalgia. Quilting and our craft room has become my sanctuary---the room itself is a bit messy right now but I still LOVE it!

Welcome from Austin, Texas. I too suffer from SLE and fibromyalgia. Have good days and bad, but try to keep as active as possible and find consolation in my quilting, even if just planning. I am also a retired nurse, SLE and fibor final got ot me.
