Hi, Will's grammy!
Aren't grandkids fun! I have nine now. Unfortunately, none of them live close, but we manage visits and lots of talks on the phone (not enough, though--wish they lived closer). I think this is going to be a fun experience on line for me--I've never done this before! Well, it's late and I must go now--thanks for the nice welcome!

Hi there!
Thanks for the nice welcome. I think this is going to be really fun! It's a new experience for me--I've never joined an online group like this! Right now Florida sounds great! Everything is white with snow here--it was snowing off and on all day. I do love Colorado, though, and the lovely change of seasons. The quilts in your picture looked lovely. Once I get some of my UFOs finished and learn how to put pix up on my new computer, maybe I'll show some of mine!

Hi Gayle!
Thanks for the welcome! I used to live in the San Fernando Valley and, more recently, in Simi Valley, and I'm very familiar with Camarillo! Every time I think of the ocean, I get homesick! I grew up in Los Angeles and the beach! However, Colorado is beautiful and I also love the mountains! Colorado Springs is a friendly small city and there are lots of quilters here, which is fun. It's been snowing off and on all day here and it's beautiful, but cold! You must be proud of your children--congratulations and thanks for their contribution to our country and to all of us. WLee

I, too, am new to this on the computer *** circle of friends***. Only one grand child for me (bet ya can't guess his name). I've made several quilts over the years and now my dream is to get a longarm and put it in its own little building . My house is small and there isn't enough room for one in here.
