Hi Everyone
#1
I am not totally new to the board - been lurking for about a month. Just joined the other day and thought I'd introduce myself.
I am a relatively new quilter - less than a year - but totally love it. I have done other crafts over the years, cross-stitch, etc. but just started quilting.
Am slowly building my stash - how addictive - sometimes I have to remind myself "You need to start quilting - not just buy fabric!"
I am retired (heart disability) and I have found the quilting very therapeutic. Tried hand quilting - but decided I am a machine quilter as I need to see quick progress!
My DH, 4 Irish Setters & 1 little black "side of the road" rescue dog (who thinks he's as big as the Irish Setters) live on 20 acres in the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas. Beautiful country. Just too far from LQS or Hancocks or Hobby Lobby (75 miles). Our local WalMart (30 miles) has quit selling fabric.
Ok - enough rambling - off to Quilt!
Cindy
