Welcome from FL. My husband ignored my habit of quilting for so many years. Just recently he took a job in a Bernina shop learning machine repairs. He is very good at it and enjoys it. However when my Tin Lizzy was delivered to the house, he watched the short demo of the machine (I already knew how to use), he was the first one on it. Since then, he is planning on taking a certification class in long-arm quilting and has told me he might start quilting my quilts for me. I am actually looking forward to the day when he does so it will give us something else in common.

Hello and welcome from Boston, Ma. Is your wife a member of the board? If so what is her user name? I think you will be quilting soon because you seem to have an interest and lord knows someone has to help use the fabric, machines, tools etc.

Litacats, that is sad :( like nursie's my hubby supports me with my quilting. He always like to see what I have been doing (I don't always appreciate his criticism) but I do value most of his input. He recently sold his ute and gave me the money towards a new machine even so I am very fortunate

Welcome!
I get a feeling you're not a husband at the quilt show just sitting on the sidelines, in that row of chairs they put there for the husbands that HAD to come.
In other words, NOT like my husband!
