Welcome from Sydney Australia. You must make a quilt. We would all like to see this happen. My husband is very supportive also. He understands that this is important to me but I still don't think he is aware of just how much money all my fabric etc is worth. Everything was on "special" when I bring home some more.

good morning..."husband-of-a-quilter"
Have you chatted with "LostN51". He is a car & bike enthusiast and loves old sewing machines. He has helped quite a few of us by answering our many questions..regarding our machines ..........and he does quilt.
My hubby will go to the shops with me, not always going in but he does make sure that there is a puzzle book in the car.knowing that he might be sitting there for some time.
He has started doing wooden quilts for me. It was one of my projects but I turned it over to him.....He's much better at wood-working.

this thread shows his work, and in the end of the thread, hanging on our home.
Welcome to the board.looking forward to your threads.....mj

Maybe1day :-)
don't get me wronge I love him dearly (I must do to put up with him for 45 years)
he is a very kind man and will help anyone in trouble, but there's too much of his mothers influence on him she was a real tartar and out of the 3 boys I definitly got the pick of the litter

It is great to see a Husband of a quilter who is very supportive of her hobby. I too have a hubby who supports my hobby and takes the time to find quilt stores for me. When he goes out of town on work and if I get to join him he checks out the locations of stores for me to go shopping at.
We have also made the trip off the beaten path to quilt stores thanks to quilters companion. He also gives me his opinion on color choices as best he can - he is color blind so sometimes it is interesting.
