Hi all. Thanks for inviting me to join the forum. This morning I posted a little about myself in the general chit-chat section when debating about whether or not to join. Miss Penny and I love vintage and antique machines. The beauty and functionality of them astound me...relics of a bygone era when cams, cast iron and mechanical innovation ruled the roost! We just won a 1910 Redeye treadle we'll get this week, with an eye to restoration and excited use. I love beautiful traditional handguns, and plan, (don't laugh now), quilted sleeves for them to protect their finish on trips to the range. Haven't seen this done yet. I look forward to occasional participation here, and thank everyone for the warm welcomes. Don

Welcome from Louisiana! Around here anything "Mossy Oak" or camo is a big hit! Great idea the gun protector. Hmmmmm. Have a couple of Sons and DH that could make use of the sleeve. Thanks for the idea:)
