Hi I'm from maldon Essex uk Where george Washingtons father was vicar. I've been teaching myself quilting for about 6 years and go to a lovely quilt group in one of our villages. I've just finished my biggest project to date aquilt for my sons girlfriend,
I used a black and white jelly roll and red fat quarters. Maldonmum

Welcome to the board. I used to have my holidays just outside Maldon when I was a kid (eons ago). I have fond memories of the Thames Barges with their terracotta coloured sails going down the river Blackwater. Are there any left?
