Hi I live in ILLINOIS and just finished a top to make a small quilt. The pattern is disappearing ninepatch. I hada piece of fabric about 2" larger than the top and it looked like it would be easy to just use it for the back and wrap it to the front for the binding. I'd never heard anyone doing it,and those I asked about it didn't know. So I got a reply so quick from an experienced quilter and she said yes it was a way to do it. I'm so excited. Can't wait to get started. My family is leaving this evening for a week vacation. My mind is going to be somewhere else occasionally,....thinking of my quilt waiting for me at home. Ha. This is so neat. I will chat in a week when I return home.
